Biography
David Grauer practices exclusively in civil litigation, representing individuals and businesses in diverse areas of the law. He is known to his clients as an attentive listener, a problem solver and a fierce advocate.
He is known to the courts, his peers and opposing counsel as a strong & focused litigator, an ethical lawyer and a knowledgeable authority on New York matrimonial law, real property law, zoning, appellate practice and many other diverse and ancillary matters. He is admitted to the bar in the state of New York and he practices in both State and Federal Court.
Attorney Grauer was elected to serve on the White Plains City Council for eight years and during his tenure he was elected President of the Council by the other council members. Subsequent to his position as a city councilman, Attorney Grauer was appointed to serve as special counsel to the Mayor of the City of White Plains. In that role, for four years Attorney Grauer worked on legislative and legal issues facing the city, county, and state where he developed extensive governmental experience on a local and regional level.
He has tried cases and handled appeals at all levels, including landmark precedent-setting decisions and appeals. He is also admitted to the bar in the state of Massachusetts and he is a member of local and state bar associations in the state of New York.
